TRAVEL DIARY | Spring Break in Las Vegas and Southern California! (+ A Video)

I am so excited to finally be sharing pictures and video from my Spring Break trip this year! I'm a few weeks late posting this, but better late than never is usually my motto. Before I get into the pictures and details about the trip, I want to take a minute to share the video I made for this trip with you! This is my third travel diary video I have made and I am so proud of it. I worked really hard on it and I am so happy with how it turned out. It really captures the feel of the trip perfectly! It would mean so much to me if you would give it a watch and maybe even like or comment! I am definitely up for any advice or constructive criticism as well.

Now to move onto the pictures! As always, all of these pictures are by Christine, my friend and our group's personal photographer basically. This Spring Break was basically a week long double date vacation! My boyfriend at the time, Taylor, and I went with our friends Christine and Spencer, who are also dating. We are also all just great friends. It was such a fun trip to spend with my friends!

We started out our trip in my hometown, Las Vegas. My best friend, Leonor, joined us for our adventures in Downtown Las Vegas. We only had one full day in Vegas, so this day was jam packed! We visited Container Park, Freemont Street, and DTLV to walk through the Mob Museum, which is my favorite museum in Las Vegas. Let me know if in the future you would want me to do a Las Vegas travel guide, since I do consider myself a local and I am very familiar with some cool spots! I've also been wanting to do a guide to Las Vegas wall art, so let me know if you'd be interested in that as well.

The next day of our trip was a driving day. We made our way to California, but we just had to make a stop at Seven Magic Mountains! I am a big fan of this beautiful desert artwork. I have a full post from last summer when I visited it that goes into detail and has more pictures, so check that out if you're interested! Also, I don't think that I mentioned that I dyed my hair purple for this trip. This is the third time I've dyed my hair purple and the second time this year. The dye I use fades out into pretty pink streaks as you'll see in later pictures. I'll be doing a more detailed hair update soon!

Finally in California!!! We spent time in Cypress, Huntington, Carlsbad, and Vista. All of these pictures are from Ponto Beach, because the weather and the scenery this day were the most beautiful. The greenery and rocks with the Ocean background? Seriously dreamy. This was probably my favorite day of the whole trip. After spending all day at the beach, we went to dinner and bought over $100 of sushi. Everything was so good and I was so happy and content afterwards.

On our way back home, we decided to spend another night in Vegas which quickly turned into... getting tattoos!! Taylor, Christine, and I all got our first tattoos and it was so fun. The heart above is the one I got. It was a very last minute decision, I've never been interested in tattoos at all, but I'm so glad I did it. Watch the end of the video I posted above to see footage of all of us getting them!

Hopefully you enjoyed this little recap of my Spring Break. Hopefully I'll have some fun trips this summer that I can share. Again, if you haven't already, please go check out my video for this trip that I posted above!!

What did you do for your Spring Break? What are your summer vacation plans? Let me know in the comments below! Also, let me know if you're interested in seeing a Las Vegas travel guide/wall mural guide!

Thanks for reading!
