EIGHT Summer Beauty Products Under $10! | My Summer Favorites

I've been wanting to share my Summer Favorites since June, but I had to wait until I actually got some summer products that I tried and loved. I finally have a few that I've been loving this summer! All of these products are from the drugstore and they're all under $10, which makes them even better. Hopefully you see something that interests you!

I want to start with this deodorant, because I feel like deodorant isn't something you normally see in favorites posts. It's kind of weird, but I love this deodorant for the summer! The spray can deodorants have become very popular in the last year and I can understand why. Somehow, the spray stays on all day and doesn't get any gross stains on my shirt. It's perfect for summer because it doesn't even sweat off! I swear, I will be laying in bed at night and still smell the deodorant like it was at the beginning of the day.

These are my favorite lip color and eyeliner shade this summer. The pink is a NYX matte lip cream from their Liquid Suede line in the shade Tea & Cookies. It is the prettiest neutral light pink and it dries matte and stays on for a few hours. It's a product I can throw on with any outfit. The blue is this beautiful NYC eyeliner pencil in the shade Sky High. I got this eyeliner pencil on clearance for 75 cents at Walmart which was an awesome score. It's this shimmery metallic medium blue color. It glides on really well and stays on for a surprisingly long time. It's called City Proof 24 Hour Waterproof eyeliner and it measures up to that claim! I wore it in this makeup tutorial and on the Fourth of July and it is just an awesome eyeliner! Highly recommend.

I've been using this Elf Setting Spray for the past two summers. It's the only setting spray I've ever tried, so I don't have very much experience with setting sprays, but I do like this one a lot. I carry it in my purse on hot summer days to give my face little pick me ups throughout the day. I also use it because a lot of the makeup products I use are either matte or powders and using a setting spray makes them look less cakey together and more creamy. I've been wanting to try the NYX setting spray and PIXI setting spray but I'm not sure if I want to when I love this one and it's only $3!

Every summer, I switch to a tinted moisturizer with SPF in it. I like to give my face a break from heavy foundation and I like to protect my face from the Las Vegas sun! For the past few years, BB and CC creams have become popular and most I've tried look greasy and do not have very good coverage. This product was a last minute buy without doing any research on it before and I scored! This is the first BB Cream I've used that has good coverage and is matte. No greasy looking face this summer!

This Neutrogena face moisturizer with SPF 15 was a random last summer buy. I needed a new moisturizer and this one came in a set with a non SPF moisturizer and a face wash. I didn't like the face wash, but I've gotten a lot of use out of this one. I put it on every day before my face primer. It's really important for me to protect my face with SPF during Las Vegas summers and this product really helps.

I have always been super pale and I've learned over the years to just embrace it. This summer, however, I thought it would be fun to try a self tanning product. I know there's a lot of people who love Jergen's self tanner, but I thought these towelettes looked so easy and not too messy. They were a little pricey, about $10 for six single use packets. The L'oreal website says they're $10.99 but at Target I'm pretty sure I got them for a little over $9, so I'm still counting this as under $10. I really like how they work. If you do try them, make sure you let it fully dry on your skin. The first day I tried them I ended up with weird streaks from not letting it dry fully!

Last but certainly not least, is this sea salt spray from John Frieda. I got this at Walmart on clearance for only $5 which is 50% off. Total score! I really like how it works on my hair. I like to do some waves with a curling iron and then spray this instead of hairspray. It gives it a nice texture. The only thing I don't like about this product is the smell. It's kind of like a musty perfume smell, but it's not too bad and I'm not very sensitive to smells at all.

I love all of these products this summer, I've been using most of them on a daily basis! And the fact that they're all drugstore products and under $10 is amazing! Hopefully I gave you some ideas for new products to try out.

What are your go-to summer products? Have you tried anything new this summer? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for reading!

  1. Loving your summer beauty picks! I'm about to try a self-tanner for the first time but I'm a little nervous. Did you find the towelettes to be streaky? Would love to see a before and after.

    1. The towelettes did get streaky for me the first day I used them, but I think it was because I was out in the heat all day and didn't let it dry. As long as you exfoliate and let it dry completely and be careful with how you sit (crossing your legs will make weird streaks) you should be fine. I really liked the color they gave me!
